Working in the Garden

Have you seen our garden?  We have a beautiful vegetable and butterfly garden in the playground, and even our little ones help take care of them!  Here are some pictures of the children preparing the garden with soil, and planting seeds.  They had so much fun......

"I, however, am not having the same luck she did!  I cannot fit in this box!"

That's okay though, we can still do other things with the box!

"I don't have time for all this racing stuff, I need to finish collecting all of the balls in this room and get them in this container!"

"I know what you are talking about!  I have two types of bags and I need things to put in them!"

"The only thing I care about is getting all of these balls on the same side!  Who cares about boxes and containers!" ;0)

Birthday Fun on Friday, April 15th

We have so many birthdays this month! We are having so much fun celebrating, and this Friday, one of the parents has arranged for some special visitors!



EJC Farms will come for one of our children's birthday parties, and they are bringing a petting zoo as well as a pony carousel!

The party will be from 2 - 4 so please make sure you sign the permission slip to allow your child to participate in petting and riding the animals.

They are located at the front computer and by your child's classroom.

Upclose and Personal!

As our teachers are taking pictures of us through out the day, we love to stop them and make them show us the pictures!

We enjoy calling out the names of the children we see in the pictures and talking about what we are doing in the pictures.

We would like to extend this interest and create a section in our book area for our own family albums!  We have homework!!!! ;0)

Each child in our class can take the next week or two to create a family album with pictures of family, animals, favorite toys, etc that are special to us.  Please put note or a description of the pictures so that when the teachers sit and look at the books with the children, they can talk about the pictures with the children.

We know how our children LOVE to handle everything in the classroom, so please make sure that the photos and album that you send is "child proof", and that it is okay if something accidentally gets torn.
