About Me

Little Wonders is a wonderful learning center located right here in Missouri City. This is where talent, imagination and professional skills are being dedicated to the teaching of our young children. We understand that children learn differently. Through observation and listening, we encourage each individual's unique learning styles; while focusing on their physical, educational and emotional needs. All of our teachers are professionally qualified with combined expertise in education, speech & hearing therapy, bilingual education and English as a Second Language. With a low student-teacher ratio, we provide your child with the attention they need. Little Wonders Learning Center is located at the corner of Lexington Blvd. and Dulles Ave. In this center, you will find a number of warm, loving teachers committed to putting children first. This isn't your ordinary day care facility.

Our Itsy Bitsy Spider

While outside during play time we saw a spider. Our teacher noticed the interest we had in it and caught it for us. When it was time to come in we all sat around the table to examine it. We counted its legs and talked about how the body looked like a circle. Next we drew the spider all in our own ways. We were all very proud of our drawings and were very amazed by the real spider we had. Look at how focused we are!

My spider is better! ; )

I want to cut out my spider!

OUR SPIDER! : )

The finished work.

Don't be scared when you see our work on the walls, we know they look JUST LIKE the real spiders, but it is just our art ;0)

Piles of Paper Rolls

Look what we did one HOT afternoon ;0)  We found a new thing to do with our rolls of paper.......and art had NOTHING to do with it!

We had the best time unrolling all of the paper and in the end, we rolled around in it too!!!!!!!

Buckets of Fun

Buckets are interesting toys to us because there are so many ways we can use them. Our favorite way to use them is as ear covers and hats. We like to open and close them, put multiple lids on each one, and count how many we can carry at once.   Who would have thought that so much could come from a bucket! ;0)

Buckets make great hats!

How do I put the this on?

Can I put two on one bucket?

Look what I can do!

These go great over my ears!

A Collage of Materials

Presented with an assorted amount of materials we were able to create a collage. It came out to be a beautiful piece that we used to express ourselves. We got to use toilet paper rolls, blue and white paint, confetti pieces, pipe cleaners, and feathers.

Hmmm, what should I do next?

White is sooo pretty! : )

I'm trying to focus!

Inspiration from a New Environment

Our teachers thought it would be a good idea for us to go outside and get inspiration for our art. It was exciting to be in a different environment while doing art. It was a very calm experience for us that we enjoyed very much.

I need a napkin to stand on so I don't get my shoes dirty. : )

Don't paint in my spot!
