About Me

Little Wonders is a wonderful learning center located right here in Missouri City. This is where talent, imagination and professional skills are being dedicated to the teaching of our young children. We understand that children learn differently. Through observation and listening, we encourage each individual's unique learning styles; while focusing on their physical, educational and emotional needs. All of our teachers are professionally qualified with combined expertise in education, speech & hearing therapy, bilingual education and English as a Second Language. With a low student-teacher ratio, we provide your child with the attention they need. Little Wonders Learning Center is located at the corner of Lexington Blvd. and Dulles Ave. In this center, you will find a number of warm, loving teachers committed to putting children first. This isn't your ordinary day care facility.

From Trash to Treasure!

Instead of painting on paper like always, we decided to use toilet paper rolls. What was once trash is now our art. Our colors of choice were pink, blue, white, and yellow. While mixing the colors we ended up making different beautiful colors and shades as shown in the pictures. To top it off we shredded toilet paper to sprinkle on top as our finishing touch.

Don't tell me how to make my art!

Did any get on my face???

I swear I didn't make that mess. Does it look like I'm lying?

Don't even think about touching my paint!

Birds

One day the children were looking outside the window pointing at the birds. They began to say "birds, birds." We filled our art area with photos of different birds.  We talked about the birds and the colors of the feathers.
The next day, we put Styrofoam, feathers, and paint in the art area.  We began making "BIRDS"!  When they were all finished we hung them over our play area to "fly" in the sky!(a flock of birds)

Now when the children are playing and they look above them, they scream, "BIRDS!  BIRDS!"
