About Me

Little Wonders is a wonderful learning center located right here in Missouri City. This is where talent, imagination and professional skills are being dedicated to the teaching of our young children. We understand that children learn differently. Through observation and listening, we encourage each individual's unique learning styles; while focusing on their physical, educational and emotional needs. All of our teachers are professionally qualified with combined expertise in education, speech & hearing therapy, bilingual education and English as a Second Language. With a low student-teacher ratio, we provide your child with the attention they need. Little Wonders Learning Center is located at the corner of Lexington Blvd. and Dulles Ave. In this center, you will find a number of warm, loving teachers committed to putting children first. This isn't your ordinary day care facility.

Choo Choo Train!

A few of the students were pretending that they were a train and walking around the room singing"choo choo!" Mrs Fauzia showed them how to line up the chairs to form a long train. The children loved it! They sang songs, listened to train music, and counted the number of people in the choo choo train! They counted all the way up to 11!

"Inside" Underwater

We are sure you have noticed our obsession with underwater life! We love sharks, fish, dolphins, star fish, and so much more. We are using the underwater life to help teach us our numbers, colors, letters, and to inspire our art! Look at the photos of us here...............

We are drawing marine life, and painting water for them to live in!

Snowflakes and Snowmen

We are reading so many different books about winter. So far our favorite book is Millions of Snowflakes by Mary McKenna Siddals.

We love to count along with the book, and copy all of the things the book talks about!

We all sat down to paint SNOWMEN! We each chose our colors and practiced making "circles"!

When we were done painting, we used yarn to make "mouths" and glued eyes on our snowmen!

Our masterpiece will be hanging in the hallway this week! ;0)
