Look closely in our butterfly garden, and YES, we have a butterfly drinking nectar from one of our butterfly weeds! How exciting! Actually, it is like Little Wonders has its own "pet butterfly", because this butterfly has come to our garden everyday for the past week! What a wonderful reward for everyone's hard work! The children get so excited when they see the butterfly, and it just flies around them teasing them when they are outside!
The children have also been observing the butterfly landing on the flowers, and this is a great way for them to understand the concept of how the butterfly eats! 
And, no, these pictures are not from national geographic ;0), Ms. Karla did an awesome job of capturing the beauty in our playground! We are going to print these pictures so that the children can create paintings of these beautiful pictures!
Once again, we want to thank everyone who made the butterfly garden possible! This is such a wonderful project and we are so glad that we are having such great results, the children are getting to experience so much from this!
